Women Speaker Series has just started at RIT Dubai!
Under the theme, Lead beyond: Accelerating innovative women who change the world, RIT University in Dubai has kicked off the Women speaker series on Sat, 29 Sept. The first topic was "Disruptive Technology" was presented by Dr. Hoda Alkhazaimi, Director of Cyber Security Center NYU Abu Dhabi, Dr. Guilia De Masi, Associate Professor -Zayed University, Dr. Manar Abu Talib Vice Dean College of Science University of Sharjah, Ms. Ghada Elkeisi Director of Software Engineering and Analytics in GE.
Different topics were presented in the fields of Cyber Security, Block Chain, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Women Speaker series will be held every last Saturday of the month at RIT Dubai from 4-6:30 pm. The speaker series will provide opportunity to create communities that fuel innovation, facilitate knowledge sharing and provide support through highly interactive sessions designed to foster discussion and collaboration. WSS focuses on providing leading-edge professional development for mid- and senior-level women. Through this event, we want to encourage and empower women to embrace and stay in STEM field.
We would like to serve the community at large and invite all women groups and the industry to take part of this initiative.
